Biography: Ikkazaka Jiroubo is the first shinigami to attack Ishida Uryuu and Inoue Orihime. He is very large and wears the standard shinigami robes in addition to a large bead necklace. He also holds the title “Kamaitachi” as a master of airborne weaponry. Orihime attempts to use Tsubaki, but she doesn’t put enough heart behind it, and Tsubaki is injured. However, Ishida defeats him with ease, and mocks his title. Ishida’s detest for shinigami is particularly clear in Jiroubo’s case because Ishida notices that he goes after the clearly weaker Orihime, not once, but three times.
